SERVPRO Responds to Flood Damage at Local Commercial Resort Hotel, in Vernon, NJ
When an unexpected water main break resulting from a burst frozen sprinkler pipe caused a significant amount of water damage inside a local resort hotel, SERVPRO of Wayne, in addition to multiple local fire departments, responded to the after-hours emergency call within one hour, and immediately took part to assist the hotel with the clean-up of three water soaked damaged floors, hallways, and approximately 30 wet rooms that were deemed unsafe for occupants. Due to the water damage, two wings and many rooms needed to be shut down and blocked off for safety reasons even though the hotel was going to be packed to capacity as athletes and supporters of the Special Olympics were getting ready to pour in for their annual event. SERVPRO of Wayne, along with a team of about 25 crew members, were immediately able to install a significant amount of drying equipment and worked diligently from the start of the loss to facilitate in the necessary dry-out process. SERVPRO of Wayne successfully rectified the water damage issues, in a rather short amount of time, which resulted in the quick reopening of many of the rooms before the local event took place.
