Residential Kitchen Fire Cleanup to Prepare for Rebuild, Sparta, NJ
After a severe kitchen fire, SERVPRO of Wayne performed the entire demo, clean-up, and remediation of this residential home’s main first floor, down to the wood frame studs, to prepare for the interior rebuild of the home. Work performed also included the structure cleaning of all of the walls, ceilings, floors, windows, doors, and light fixtures, along with the home’s content cleaning, in the undamaged portion of the home. Some of the work involved the heavy removal and disposal of unrecognizable fire damaged debris, such as the kitchen appliances, cabinets, destroyed content, and fixtures, (a complete demolition), along with all of the existing sheet rock, insulation, carpeting, padding, and other flooring. We handled it from start to finish.
In the end, to prepare for the rebuild, all of the studs, floor, and ceiling joists systems were treated and sealed with an encapsulated environmental coating, called Envrocoat, for odor control.
