The Dry-Out and Clean-Up of Office Space Contaminated with Flood Water, Wayne, NJ
This photo shows the results of what happened after a major unexpected storm flooded this commercial office space with standing water. Left behind was a large amount of hazardous unwanted dirt, silt, and debris that was carried in from the creek that overflowed outside, along with inner wet walls, and materials. This office required an extensive amount of clean-up, antimicrobial agents, proper disposal of hazardous contaminates, dehumidification, and the drying-out of the structure before any rebuild process could begin. In the photo you can see that the walls needed to be partially opened in order to properly dry-out the space to prevent any mold growth, which could have caused even more damage to the structure.
SERVPRO of Wayne’s quick response, clean-up, and dry-out of the affected areas resulted in the fast rebuild of the office. We provided 24-hour EMS Emergency Services for remediation of the entire building, with technicians that are fully trained to safely handle hazardous contaminate materials, and any size disaster.
In addition to Cleaning, Water, Fire, and Storm Damage Services, SERVPRO of Wayne also handles Construction Rebuild Services, as was the case for this particular flood.
