SERVPRO of Wayne has teamed up with the Morris County Fire Academy to offer insurance and real estate agents "continuing education classes to keep up with the latest information and technologies." The classes take place inside of the Academy's facilities, and then the participants take place in a workshop with the firefighters outside. Now, "we can now share these techniques to help you better protect your family and property." SERVPRO believes that it is essential to not only be there for our community during times of crisis but also to offer our community preemptive knowledge that can help prevent home-based damages.

During the workshop with the Morris County Fire Academy, the firefighters demonstrated "the proper technique to put out a fire with a hand-held fire extinguisher." In order to explain the property techniques to the insurance and real estate agents, the firefighters created a controlled fire outside. The agents would learn the correct angle to attempt an extinguishment at, as well as the best method of approaching a fire.
